Hitler Before Nazi Germany(not to be taken lightly)

Adolf  Hitler also known as The Fuhrer of Nazi Germany, was born in Braun am Inn in Austria. His father was Alois Schicklgruber but he changed his last name to that of his stepfather’s, becoming Aloes Hitler. He was a mid-level Austrian customs officer. He married his cousin Klara and had six children, out of which the fourth was Adolf.

Adolf Hitler was interested in painting and was very good at it. When he told his father about becoming a painter, his father got angry and this resulted in a difficult relationship with his father.

Hitler was very patriotic at the young age of 10, and he often tormented pro-Austrian people with symbolic gestures displaying his allegiance to the idea of united German people under a greater German state.

Hitler wanted to become an artist, but he failed the Vienna Art Academy three times, but it was also the period where Anti Semitism was rampant, which had a big effect on the personality of Adolf Hitler.

In 1914, World War I broke out. Hitler volunteered for the German Army. He was a brave soldier and was awarded the Iron Cross(First Class).

Hitler was devastated to hear about the German defeat. He felt hatred among those who he felt were responsible namely the Communists  and the Jews whom he believed had stabbed Germany in the back by spreading dissent and Anti-war propaganda

Since Germany’s army had been reduced, Hitler could no longer remain in the army, but he kept working for the army as an informant. The Bolshevist revolution alarmed the government and Hitler were sent to check a newly formed party, which they thought was Communist, but Hitler then found out that the party wasn’t Communist, but extreme right and this attracted Hitler.

He left the army and joined the German Workers Party and subsequently took over the party and renamed it the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or Nazi for short.
